E297– Inner Voice – a Heartfelt Chat with Dr. Foojan. In this episode, Dr. Foojan chats with Dr. Kara Miller, the assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). She is a cultural anthropologist with specialties in applied and medical research. Her work on ecological well-being examines the effects of industrial development around Long Beach and LA County. Her fields of expertise include embodiment and empowerment in addressing health inequities. She explores artmaking and science-based knowledge-building and promotes meaningful connections with nature. Kara hopes to contribute to community environmental wellness, is inspired by land and people, and believes in holistic education. Kara.miller@csulb.edu.
