A conversation with Tom Schaefer, Amphenol's Business Development Director specializing in eMobility and Battery Products for the Transportation industry. Tom has been with Amphenol for almost four years after spending time as a Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy. We talk about the EV market including the interconnect product differences between EVs and gas-powered vehicles. We talk about his time in the ROTC program at MIT, then discuss what it was like working and living on a submarine. We talk about how having to be a jack-of-all-trades on a submarine has translated well to his work at Amphenol. And we talk about his desert island album, book, and movie. This is The Interface.
