SEASON 2 , EPISODE 1: Meet Eden and her Parents

This extended episode has been released in memory of Eden, one of our podcasters from series 1, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Eden and her family were grateful for the opportunity to record this podcast and have requested that this be released in Eden's memory. 

 

In this episode Eden introduces us to her parents Alan and Geraldine. You will hear them discuss how, as a family they have navigated Eden's experience of cancer, particularly during the latter months of her life, which includes a raw and open discussion about death and dying that listeners may find distressing.  

 

At RadioTherapy Podcast, it's important to everyone involved that we represent the many experiences of young people, including the topics that can be hard to talk about.  Like Eden and her family we hope that this episode will add to the conversation about teenage and young adult cancer, but we encourage listeners to think about when this is a helpful conversation to hear.
