Value Borders

When what we love and what we do best meets, we have start to find our passions. 

 

Today, when what we love meets our view of the world, we start to discover our values. 

Values are important to our ikigai because they are the boundaries we have set up for our character as integrity to follow. 

 

Having character means to have moral and ethical standards. You need to be able to stand for what you believe in before any situation comes to you. When something happens, then your character instinctively knows what to do because it’s governed by its values. The values guide your character to accomplish ikigai tasks, because this is how you are viewing the world and what it needs. 

 

Like character, Integrity means to act in a manner that is consistent with your values. 

Character is how you view the world according to your values externally, and integrity is how you govern yourself internally. 

 

What are some of your core values?

One of mine is that God sees value in everyone, even when they don’t see it themselves. I try to find it and figure out how God bringing us together will increase our values together.
