Calls for signalled junction at Merlin Park Hospital to be made priority

A local councillor is calling for the new proposed signalled junction at Merlin Park Hospital to be made a priority.

It is estimated to be completed by 2028, and councillor Alan Cheevers claims that's just too long to wait.

Public consultation is underway for the Dublin Road Bus Connects and cycle lanes, which includes the new junction at the entrance to the hospital

Councillor Cheevers says the junction is badly needed now and cannot wait another five years.
