In this third part of four, Tony Galvan, Director of Health and Wellness, has a conversation with members of the LCS Resident Advisory Council on how technology impacts their overall well being. The conversation begins with establishing a framework for defining wellness, which is a focus on a holistic, multi-dimensional approach. Our resident panel shares how they feel technology positively impacts some of these areas of wellness which include physical health, brain fitness and overall psycho-social well being. The group also discusses how living in a senior living community increases their exposure to the types of technologies that heightens their engagement. Leveraging technology from a healthcare, care coordination and safety standpoint is also discussed.
