American Pie the song and album from Don McLean will turn 50 in 2021.

Recently the back-catalogue from the singer/songwriter has been re-issued through Time Life - including the latest album 'Still Playin' Favourites'. Also this year a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will have their name.

McLean joined John Murch of radionotes to talk about his life.
