Palm Sunday recalls the historic event of Jesus entering Jerusalem and being greeted with audible "hosannas" from the crowds who paved the path into the city with palm leaves before him. Metaphysically, the "hosanna" and the "palm leaves" represent an awareness and recognition of the divine Christ Presence that Jesus embodied.
