Ron Nott: Lightning Charge Dissapation

Former Broadcast Engineer Ron Nott discusses his lightning charge dissipation technology and explains how it is different from lightning rods and how it works. Nott has designed many local broadcast facilities (including KSJE) and in a state like New Mexico, which has one of the highest incidents of lightning strikes in the country, equipment like his can save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.  In addition to broadcasting, the oil and gas industry uses this type of equipment to protect sensitive well site monitoring equipment.
