I think Little Richard should’ve had the fame that Elvis did, instead of Elvis. I may not be profoundly qualified to speak on the subject - I’m not a music historian - but Little Richard’s version of Tutti Frutti is SO much fucking better than Elvis’. Holy hell, they’re like night and day. Anyway, what’s up, perverts?! Today we’ve got Little Richard’s album, Here’s Little Richard, and A Perfect Circle’s debut album, Mer De Noms.If you’re a fan of Maynard James Keenan, which is to say, if you’re a human being who breathes air and knows the difference between stuff that’s awesome and stuff that sucks, you’ll most likely dig Mer De Noms. If you’re a fan of Maynard James Keenan, which is to say, if you’re a human being who breathes air and knows the difference between stuff that’s awesome and stuff that sucks, you’ll most likely dig Mer De Noms. Frankly, I think if you haven’t listened to this album yet (or at least, heard a song or two from it), I’m inclined to ask under which rock you’ve been living for the past decade or more, and I’m inclined to have great pity for you. Anyway, yeah, this is a firm entry on my list. It’s hard to believe this wasn’t on the official list, but eh. I think eventually I’ll have one or a few of the albums from the official list on my personal one, but I’m gonna concentrate on stuff that’s not on there for now.
