Man who threw excrement at TDs in Gort says ”someone had to speak up” to them

The man who flung a bag of cow excrement at two Galway TD's says he is not concerned about the commotion surrounding the incident. 

Bags of dry cow dung were hurled at Junior Minister Anne Rabbitte and Fine Gael TD Ciaran Cannon during a public meeting in Gort on Wednesday night. 

38 year old Joseph Baldwin is now the subject of a Garda investigation - but has told the Irish Independent that 'someone had to speak up to them'.
