Another brutal Sunday for the Commanders as Detroit rolled in and handed Washington a 44-22 beating that felt even worse than the score. The Lions piled up yards at will, scoring on their first eight possessions while Jahmyr Gibbs and Jared Goff carved up the defense like it was a walkthrough. Washington, already missing Jayden Daniels and a banged up Terry McLaurin, never found a rhythm on offense and looked overwhelmed on defense.
