Episode 1: The Night of the Murder
October 29, 2017, dawned amid chaos and sadness. First, a triple shooting at a Halloween party off Soft Breeze Way, then a second triple shooting less than three miles away, claiming the life of 16-year-old Nathaniel Czajkowski.
Episode 2: The Day After
The morning after the shooting both reporters and the police begin to piece together what happened at both scenes. A witness describes a chilling scene inside the party at Soft Breeze Way and we return to the neighborhood to find out what residents remember from that night.
Episode 3: Who was Nate Czajkowski?
We attend a vigil for Nate, held a year after his murder and speak to his parents and friends, those who knew him best. We also listen to his music, which made him such a prominent and beloved presence in his high school for clues as to why he was targeted. New video evidence is uncovered and new questions emerge.
Episode 4: Dueling Narratives
Other friends of Nate come forward and offer a different picture of him—and a different version of his movements on the night of the shooting. The coroner and his report provide crucial insights into Nate's last moments and the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
