051: A Soul Expansive Journey with My Life-Long Friend Chelsye Phillips
Chelsye Phillips has been my life-long friend. When I asked her what brought us together, she said that, in some part, it was because of our shared experiences. Although we didn't know that right away, in some ways, we are just fundamentally alike.
There’s this element of yin and yang that we were able to fill a void that the other one had. We weren't afraid to ask each other for help, which is something a lot of people aren’t able to do with their friends. But the commonality about us no matter what we were going through is that we wanted to support each other no matter what and work on ourselves.
One of the things we also discussed is doing your own healing work first before you tap into it and start growing because it will kick up a lot. And you will have to work on your own personal healing through it because a lot of trauma and all those stuff are surely going to come up.
Even though we’re doing two totally different things, it's our truth. And as we've grown in this very fluid way, personally and together as friends, the amount of things we had in common along the way has truly blown me away.
