I think that people obsess about "living their purpose" because they want to belong somewhere -- and feel like they mean something. Finding your passion is the trendy thing to do, after all. Purpose, to me, seems to be a very rigid way of self-defining your worth. I think that people would actually KNOW their value if they leaned into their true north instead -- the framework that aligns them to their true essence.
Where purpose demands a structured commitment, true north allows for inspired living.
