LET'S TALK PETS - PATTY GIARRUSSO
Business:Non-Profit
Lost dog recovery is a series of steps taken and every step has a purpose. Many times, well-meaning people interfere with recovery efforts causing a lost pet to remain lost and unsafe longer than they should.
On today’s show, we are going to talk about some real-life stories of pets whose recovery was interfered with and what happened, why it’s important to know these things and what Good Samaritans need to do instead. We will also discuss strange places lost pets get found to help you think outside the box about lost pet recovery.
Every week we share stories about lost pet recovery and safety with the purpose of helping those who care about pets learn from the professionals in the field who do this every day.
Kathy Pobloskie, Director & Founder of Lost Dogs of Wisconsin and Co-Founder/Director of Lost Dogs of America joins us to complete our series on three different missing dog cases. Following up with these stories will help us to learn better strategies and ways of helping to find and bring lost dogs home safe. Kathy founded Lost Dogs of Wisconsin in 2009 and co-founded Lost Dogs of America in 2012.
