On episode seven of The Music Muse Podcast host Ashley. P interviews hip hop coach & artist Kiyoshi Shelton who specializes in creative expansion through poetry and hip hop.
Kiyoshi is born and raised in Saginaw Michigan. Kiyoshi has traveled and lived in places like California and even Mexico. He takes his knowledge of the lands and uses them in his teaching as a rap coach. With 20 years of raping experience under his belt. His musical journey started in the church and has transformed to the self conscious and mindful bars that you hear in his current music.
The hip hop coach shares with us a powerful playlist named Mantras and Heavenly Vibes from fellow female artist friends like Nina Grae, Toni Jones & Sister Stone.
Kiyoshi also shares with us his up and coming project with the Donut Boys. A group he started with college friends from Eastern michigan.
