Dr. Ovadia was a heavy child, heavy teen and an obese cardiac surgeon. Both his parents were obese. Yet, their family avoided sugar and ate healthy according to the USDA food pyramid.
Through observation of his heart patients, some heavy, some thin, he realized something wasn't right with the way people eat. Thankfully, he discovered how to eat metabolically healthy and lost over 100 pounds.
