Fifteen years ago, Thomas Mlsna knew that he had to change up his strategy if he wanted to start taking world class whitetails. Shooting a 140" deer every fall meant that the chances of having a 160" or 170" around next year were slim to none. While success didn't happen overnight, Thomas would soon begin to realize the fruits of his labor, consistently placing his tag on "once in a lifetime" deer season after season.
Fast forward to 2020 and the birth of The Untamed Ambition. While Mlsna was thankful and humbled by his success, he had a greater desire to pass that formula on to others. In this episode, he breaks down some of the tactics that he's used over the years and how it's not beyond anyone's reach to grow and harvest trophy deer, even on small tracts of highly pressured ground.
Thomas also talks about his brother, who served our country and has used archery and the outdoors to deal with some of the things he'd seen while at war.
While I try not to play favorites with my guests, Mlsna is truly one of the most humble and genuine human beings that I have ever met. He has the heart of a servant and I am honored to call him a friend and blessed to have him as part of the HHAUSA family.
