My guest for The Happy Hour #333 is Ian Morgan Cron. Ian Morgan Cron is a psychotherapist, Enneagram teacher, and host of the popular podcast, Typology. He's also the author of the best-selling book, The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery. I had the honor of being a guest on Ian’s Typology podcast recently, and I am so thankful he is joining me on The Happy Hour today! One thing I really loved that he shares is how to be better consumers of people’s views even when we don’t know or understand how they see the world. It’s easy to make a quick judgment and villainize one another for our differences, but this is where the beauty of self-awareness steps in. I love when he says, “It’s a big mistake to think that your way of seeing the world is normal and that any other view is abnormal. It’s even worse to think, without any self-interrogation, that your way of seeing the world is right and the only right way of seeing the world.” I don’t know about you, but that was definitely convicting for me.
