#90: Live from the Classroom - A Lecture about Drugs & the War against Users
You can watch the video version of this episode, complete with slides and visuals, at YouTube.
If you have ever wondered what it is like to sit in a classroom where I am teaching, this is the episode for you. The audio is from a guest lecture I gave at a local college. I managed to cover a lot: tolerance, sensitization, dopamine, the thrill of the hunt and the thrill of the feast, liking versus wanting, pruning during adolescence, the price of cocaine production versus the price on the streets, the design of the war on drugs and how it ensures we will always have new users and dealers to replace those we arrest, and I even manage to squeeze in a few questions at the end.
