Daily Draw: Emma Miskew On The Pressure Of Playing For Team Canada
We’ve given Warren the day off and Emma Miskew joins the show to discuss skipping at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts with Rachel Homan away, the impact on the sport of Italy winning mixed doubles gold, and the difference between playing in the Scotties versus the games.
Kevin and Emma also recap the latest action with Canada losing to Sweden in both men’s and women’s tournaments plus an update on the standings. They also address the numerous technical timeouts that have occurred with the rock handle lights not coming on and why it’s a good thing they’re using different stones from the mixed doubles tournament. Emma also explains how teams match their rocks during an event.
Emma and Kevin wrap things up with their picks for the next three draws. For all the latest curling odds, check out Coolbet.
