A Strange Death at a Music Festival: Meredith Hunter
In honor of Black History Month, we will continue with stories featuring black lives.
In today’s episode, we discuss Meredith Hunter, a young man who attended the Altamont Free Concert with his girlfriend on December 6, 1969. With approximately 300,000 in attendance and inadequate security, the festival quickly takes a violent turn resulting in the controversial death of Meredith.
