In this episode of the 4L Academy x Law School Life & Beyond Coaching Series, Aaron Baer is joined by Renée Mulligan. Renée is legal counsel with the British Columbia Ministry of the Attorney General.
Renée obtained her undergraduate degree in geography (B.A.) and her law degree (LL.B) from the University of British Columbia. Renée completed her articles with a criminal defence law firm in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was called to the bar in 2003, worked in private practice for two years, and worked with the BC provincial government leading law reform projects from 2005-2020 where her work involved leading high-profile civil law, human rights, and administrative law reform projects, including the development of the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner in British Columbia with amendments to the Human Rights Code.
