本周一的节目评论区，我们听到了呼唤日谈老朋友瑛姐的声音。现在梦想成真！瑛姐满血归来！刚刚在墨西哥度过了40岁生日的她，不但在“村里”开了自己的中餐厅和民宿，还带来了一档全新播客“墨西姐生活”，纪录瑛姐在墨西哥的真实旅居生活。

在墨西哥开中餐厅是一种怎样的体验？2021年7月重返墨西哥的瑛姐决定完成自己在2019年的计划，将厨房从国内搬到墨西哥。从最开始运输厨具到装修餐厅，到之后开始营业，每一个步骤都有着令人啼笑皆非的故事。在这里，她见到了拥有一百多年历史墙面被刷成黑色的房子，一个月的装修工作足足做了三个月的工人，在餐厅墙壁上画功夫熊猫的志愿者…...

虽然提前学的西班牙语没派上什么用场，香料厨具餐具还得从国内邮寄，而且每天面对的蔬菜基本不超过十种，但在看似困难重重的开店过程中，瑛姐却获得很多乐趣，并对当地人的生活有了更多的了解。面对各种随机发生的意外，疫情下的墨西哥人有着超乎想象的淡然和平静，这种在现代文明和前现代文明的缝隙处所发生的摩擦，也恰恰是颇为有趣和值得关注的地方。
