Interview with Jeremy Adams - The Flash Annual 2022 - Serge Acuna
- The Flash Annual is out August 30 FOC Sunday
- The Flash Annual #1 2022 features a story about Wally West and Linda Park-West, can you tell folks why now was the right time to explore their relationship and Linda a little bit?
- The solicit for this annual is a bit cryptic, but the concept is so damn fun we have to talk about it. You've basically got a story within a story here, one of my favorite kinds of comics, but a specific kind at that. What inspired the concept behind this annual?
- I love how many full page splashes you give Serg Acuna, was there a formula or a thinking process as to where those splashes take place?
- I have to respect your nerdness, Jeremy, as there's not one but multiple references to pop culture. I think I caught a Harry Potter, a Star Trek, maybe Rocketeer too, do you ever consciously think about putting references like this into the story?
- Something I think fans will love about this annual is how you write Linda and how you convey her strength even prior to having powers. Why was that important to highlight for you with this annual?
- There's a cliffhanger here that'll have folks gasp, without spoiling it, how serious are you and DC Comics in pursuing this storyline?
- In your humble opinion what is a more powerful weapon for Linda, super speed...or journalism/writing?
- What comics are you reading right now?
- What is your favorite form of procrastination?
