Episode 109
This week we welcome a power couple onto "Table Forty." Mark Herzlich played six seasons in the NFL, all with the New York Giants, while his wife, Danielle, is an Army veteran, a former gymnast and a fitness expert.
Mark spent his entire NFL career with the New York Giants, where he was a member of the Super Bowl XLVI-winning team and also won an ESPY for Best Comeback Athlete in 2011. He now works as a college football analyst as well as for the International Justice Mission. He's the author of a book titled, “What It Takes: Fighting For My Life and My Love of the Game,” which chronicles his fight against a rare bone disease that led to the discovery of cancer in his leg.
On top of her military and athletic accomplishments, Danielle is a survivor of abuse, and she opens up about that this week. She shares how that has impacted her life, her marriage, and her walk with Jesus.
