Our goals represent our values.  When what you do during the day doesn't line up with your goals, the solution is to align your work with your values. 

Systems may work but aren't the solution to productivity. 

Systems don't adjust for the seasons of your life or for the actual day-to-day living and unexpected situations that happen. 

The idea of 'consistent output all the time'  doesn’t leave space for humanity.

A question to ask is how do we FEEL about what we’re focused on?

We need to give ourselves permission and space to figure out what we want to focus on.

It usually takes someone on the outside to help us to see what we value but we can also look at our calendar and our budget to help us see what we are valuing. 

When you deviate from your plan to be productive, it's good to notice how what you chose to do supported you and your goals and how it supported your boundaries. 

We thrive in community. Having others to support us in our goals is critical to our success.
