Risk-Taking and Work Ethic with Alejandro Quintero Rosales
“Time is something that just happens. It is the things that we do within that time that make all the difference.” -Alejandro Quintero Rosales
Here's the thing: If we want to achieve something, we don't just let it happen. We MAKE it happen.
Taking risks is one of the most exciting things we can do with our life. It's not just about taking a chance and seeing what happens— It's about getting out of our comfort zone and making ourselves open to new experiences.
It's about learning new things and being more confident in our potential. And it's also about learning how to deal with failure—and how to not let that failure stop us from taking another chance down the road. But if we don’t take risks, we will never know what we can and cannot achieve.
Alejandro Quintero Rosales experienced a hard life growing up in a foreign land. When he was nine, his family moved to the US where he felt humiliated for not knowing the language and not having enough money to buy necessities. He decided it was not the life he want for himself. As a young man, Alejandro took risks and set on his personal development journey.
Listen in as Alejandro relates where taking risks had led him to and what he learned along the way. Ann and Alejandro also talk about the value of work, showing empathy to others, being a voice for other people, not letting the noise outside to distract us from our goals, and teaching our kids how to be successful leaders.
