When Your Kids Hurt Your Feelings

Have you been in your feelings about your kids wanting to hangout with their friends or have dinner with the neighbors instead of you? On this episode Lisa Whittle and Jamie Ivey share how their hurt feelings are often caused by scenarios they create in their heads. Jamie shares that as moms and parents we often expect our kids to meet our emotional needs even though it really isn't their  job. The reality of parenting is, our kids are going to hurt our feelings by the choices they make, but that is not their intention.
