What has gone wrong for Leonardo Bonucci? I know his move to Milan (and return) was controversial to say the least, but surely at one point he was a highly rated defender who was popular with Juve fans?

Is it that he was made to look a better player when Barzagli and Chiellini were next to him? Is he just declining because of age? And why has he fallen out with Allegri?

While he’s still officially captain, it seems like he’s not very popular at all and is making mistakes leading to goals - the home game against Maccabi Haifa, and away against Milan come to mind.
