Society & Culture
In uncertain times, creativity can provide a great deal of solace, and creativity is the theme of today's discussion in the Borborygmi booth. Taimur Alavi and Rebecca de Stacpoole met at vet school in Bristol. Bex works as a small animal vet in West London and is also an artist, spending much of the free time she has painting and and selling her artwork. Taimur left clinical practice to found his company IVALA, a tech company that creates interactive 3D learning content for the veterinary community, that he sold to the Veterinary Information Network and continues to develop. Here, they talk about what exploring their creativity has meant for their professional lives and explain the value that it can bring to a scientific profession.
