Borborygmi: Noises From The Veterinary World
Society & Culture
As a new-ish faculty, the veterinary department at The University of Surrey is a little different to the more traditional older vet schools in the way their final year works, as students travel to partner practices all round the country for their rotations, rather than being in a teaching hospital on the university campus. This novel approach carries both its joys and its challenges, which are discussed here by Emma Robertson, a Veterinary Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey with responsibility for final year students, and Alexia Yiannouli herself currently a final year student at the university.
Borborygmi is a collaboration between the London Vet Show, Vet Times, Vets:Stay Go Diversify and Smashing The Ceiling. Thank you to everyone involved for your help and support, it has been much appreciated.
