Borborygmi: Noises From The Veterinary World
Society & Culture
Today’s guests on Borborygmi are Rachael Steen and Matt Forshaw. Rachael has been a qualified vet for over 20 years and spent the majority of her career working with small animals at the PDSA in Liverpool, where she met Matt. Matt, also a small animal vet, has been qualified for 10 years and now works as a Business Development Director at Vet Partners. They became firm friends since working together in Liverpool and here, they talk about how big shifts in their personal lives led them to explore other opportunities and diversify. They reflect on the changes that they’ve made and discuss how moving away from full time clinical practice has been good for them both, helping them to find the right work life balance and becoming much happier in the process.
Borborygmi is a collaboration between the London Vet Show, Vet Times, Vets:Stay Go Diversify and Smashing The Ceiling. Thank you to everyone involved for your help and support, it has been much appreciated.
