Knives Out

Welcome to the latest edition of Movies that Make Us. We’re closing out 2022 with one of our favorite caper movies in Knives Out. The 2019 murder mystery caught a lot of people by surprise making $312 million dollars on just a $40 million dollar budget. It follows the master detective Benoit Blanc who is investigating the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, and very dysfunctional family. It’s got a great cast including Chris Evans, Christopher Plummer, Jaimee Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, Don Johnson, and of course Daniel Craig and his CSI: KFC accent.
