In today's Bible Talks, we jump into Isaiah 63:7-9. If one simply rips these few verses out and runs with them, you would think they are from the mouths of happy people and someone would make a contemporary worship song with them. But, if we take a look at the context, we see that they are very much part of a Lament section of the prophesy. In the chapter, the prophet seems to sometimes lament on behalf of the people of Israel and sometimes he seems to lament on behalf of God. Yeah...God. Even God gets kinda bummed by what is happening. But, in the midst of it all, we find these words. Let's talk about it on this episode.
So, grab that coffee, have a seat at my table, and let's chat on this Bible Talks episode of the Coffee with Keith podcast.
