Creighton University Women's Soccer Coach Ross Paule is this episode's featured guest. Also, Tim Van Horn and Brodee Scott have world soccer news, including a look at any brewing transfer rumors. Will they play? If so, when?
This week's episode looks at the impact of the stoppage of play at the collegiate level. The guys tap into Ross' experience as a player and coach to learn more. Now, about Ross...
Learning the game not far from the Center Circle Studio, Ross Paule went from club & high school star to collegiate star to MLS All-Star. All that was simply the first chapters of his soccer life. Tim & Brodee chat with Ross about his playing days, including his one career red card, in a previous episode.
If you have 30 seconds, please vote for Ross to be part of the Colorado Rapids All-Time Best XI.
After the coronavirus crisis spurred the stoppage of sports, teams at all levels are coping with more than the loss of matches. At the collegiate level, Spring soccer practice (as a group) cannot happen. Scrimmages are forbidden.
Despite the inability to gather on a pitch, Ross believes his team continues to develop in the off-season. He talks about the creative ways his players and coaches continue to prepare for the start of the 2020 Fall season. Even in these difficult times, Paule believes his team can improve in the tactical and mental aspects of the game. He explains how.
Now a father of three, Ross is Head Coach of an upward-moving Creighton University Women’s Soccer Team. Ross sits down & shares great stories from the pitch, the touchline & wisdom from experiences gained & lessons learned. We thank Creighton Women's Soccer Coach Ross Paule for dropping in for a chat.
