It turns out those wide-brimmed hats you see all over westerns were invented by a hat maker in Philadelphia. City Cast Philly host Trenae Nuri talks with WHYY’s midday host, Avi Wolfman-Arent, about the historical significance of this invention and it’s once great impact on the city.
