KIRSTEN VANGSNESS: Filling the Art Well Versus the Commerce Well

For 17 seasons, actor Kirsten Vangsness has been known and loved for her role as Penelope Garcia, the witty and fashionable technical analyst on CBS's hit series "Criminal Minds," now newly reimagined for Paramount+. 

From hosting her own YouTube series podcast, to doing theater productions while simultaneously balancing her series regular role, it's easy to wonder when she manages to get any sleep. Rather than viewing it as work, however, Kirsten says she chooses to fill her life with the things she loves and emphasizes the importance of doing the inner work to recognize what those things are.
