When Chico Ryder from California was 10 years old he was diagnosed with a tumor in his throat that wrapped around his carotid artery. It's a deadly soft tissue cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. Surgery was not an option so he underwent chemo and radiation which left him in a wheelchair with his life draining out of him.
