6/14/23 Kristen Singer/Carly Mikula discuss Musical Theater

Kristen Singer, a music and theater teacher at Harborside Academy, and Carly Mikula, who just graduated from there, discuss their exciting experiences at the most recent Jerry Awards ... an event in Madison that brings together gifted musical theater students from across the state. A production Kristen directed earlier this year- "Chicago"- was honored with a place in the program - and Carly ended up being selected as the one singing actress who will represent Wisconsin in the upcoming Jimmy Awards in New York City. The conversation also includes an overview of how the whole musical theater season of KUSD is put together.
