RECRUITING ROUNDUP | 4-star TE Tayvion Galloway decommits from LSU. Bad sign for the Tigers?
LSU football head coach Brian Kelly is known for identifying, recruiting, and developing talent at the tight end position. LSU football is not traditionally known for pumped TE talent into the NFL, but in Kelly's short time in Baton Rouge it looks like he's trying to change that trend, both with the usage of tight ends in the offense in the 2022 season and the recruitment of tight ends of the future. One of those future stars being Tayvion Galloway, a four-star TE from Ohio in the 2024 class. Galloway committed to LSU in the summer of 2022 and has been very vocal on social media about how committed he was to LSU and how excited he was to be a Tiger. However, on Sunday afternoon he announced that he plans to re-open his recruitment. Why did Galloway decommit from a school he seemed so publicly committed to and is this a bad sign for LSU's recruitment? Or is the future of tight ends at LSU so stacked that Galloway saw too much competition for his years in the purple and gold?
