The fathers of every metal riff in existence, Black Sabbath gets the Album Club black candle seance this week, with their fifth album: 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath'. We talk about the making of this classic and the then escalating cocaine use, internal problems (please refer back to the cocaine bit) and riff-block leading up to it that almost killed the band. We talk about metal and how much these four Brummies influenced the future of the genre for better and for worse. We headbang to every track and then dizzily discuss them, while often playfully eviscerating Geezer's lyrics and trying to find secret Satanic messages through our cartoonish and frankly embarrassing grasp of numerology. This was a fun one, folks. Rock on! \m/
