The Album Club's most recent album to be covered is 2016's follow up to Melbourne's much lauded plunderphonics maestros, The Avalanches' 2000 debut, 'Since I Left You'. We talk about the Melbourne group's transformations from low key Beastie Boys acolytes to finding their own sound and breakthrough, we listen to each track (even the instrumental mood pieces), and talk about the making of the album, and the wilderness years of this volatile collective.
