Rashad Bio:
Rashad Smith is a US Army Veteran and proud owner of a popular restaurant in Wake Forest, NC which is about 1 hour from Diesel Jack Media’s studios. BBQ is plentiful in North Carolina, so what makes his brand of BBQ so unique?
For starters, he has no set menu. What he makes is what you can get. The restaurant is only open 4 days a week putting Chic-Fil-A to shame. The closing time varies, because when he sells out, the shop closes. And he’s got to be the only one in town serving BBQ and Smoothies, an unconventional combination that makes perfect sense when you try it.
While working as a bank teller, he felt a calling. That calling led him to join the US Army much later in life than most who enlist. Tune in and listen to how a life change to service would change his career completely.
Last but not least, yes, we’ve eaten there. It’s f*cking amazing.
