据证券时报·数据宝统计,若以股价表现与研报评级的一致性来衡量分析师报告准确度,则有超过六成的分析师胜率在50%以下;若放弃对股价的苛求只考察盈利预测的准确度,业绩预测值在实际值正负10%以内的研报数量占比也不到四成,三分之二的报告高估业绩。这样的统计结果并不令人意外,问题是在这样的结果面前如何评价卖方研究的价值,这要从你想从卖方报告中得到什么说起。
如果你想得到直接的致富密码,跟着报告建议买卖股票,那就不切实际了。一方面即便分析师能够准确预测涨跌,报告发布后涨跌也会立即兑现,而很少给人操作窗口,这是市场效率使然。另一方面,如果分析师有这样的能力,他大概率也就不需要做分析师了,所以严格讲,能够准确预测股价的分析师基本上不存在。
如果要求放低些,只利用分析师的利润预测,自己做投资决策,是否行得通?我看也未必。一是准确的盈利预测也是明牌,很难被利用;二是利润影响因素多样,准确预测很难,尤其是长期的盈利预测基本不可能准确。
那看研报还有什么用?当然有用,但取决于怎么用。
买股票好比开炮,需要瞄准、发射,更缺不了优质的炮弹。不同的投资框架就好像不同的炮型,有人用加农炮,有人用迫击炮就需要不同的炮弹。如果说决策者负责开炮,好的研究就像优质火药,是各种火炮的公约数,人人需要。
指望分析师指导你的买卖,相当于放弃了开炮的权利;直接利用盈利预测,相当于用标准化的炮弹,跟自己的炮型未必匹配。更合理的卖方研究使用方式是从中发现优质火药——即靠谱的基础事实和专业的行业视角。这些来自于报告中的定量数据和定性描述,也来自其他方面的支持,比如组织现场调研和协调专家资源等等。
我所信赖的优秀分析师,通常不是拍着胸脯推荐股票的,而是对标的小心求证和细致刻画的。与这些分析师合作,让我受益匪浅。他们的工作,也是投资决策链条中特别有价值的一环。
