She later joined CBRE, a global firm focusing on multifamily investment property sales and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
In this episode, Kelani takes us on her journey and shares the lessons she has learned along the way, from understanding that she can succeed without anyone else to avoiding mistakes like relying too heavily on MLS for deals. Kelani also dives into strategies for sourcing deals in the real estate space, such as creating a proprietary system for inbound leads and leveraging existing listings to build relationships with realtors and neighbors. Kelani emphasizes the importance of conservative underwriting and advises experienced investors to stick to their numbers while looking for opportunities.
