The week ahead is delightfully bookended with the start of a Retrograde (Uranus) and the end of one (Venus). So although we may kick off on a wobbly foot, all’s well that ends well. Yet, let’s be mindful that the start and end of retrogrades are always a time where we may feel as if the rug is being pulled out from underneath us. After all, these great, big cosmic bodies are actually changing direction. Just think of the effort that it takes to maneuver a large-ish vehicle backwards. Now times that by a zillion. Get the picture? 

When planets move retrograde or direct, their energy is powerfully emphasized, and whatever they symbolize tends to be magnified a million times over. Yes, this may sound dramatic, but that’s because it is, darlings. 

So, what to expect? 

Well, Uranus is one of the Titans in Astrology. He represents unpredictable change, sudden events, freedom, liberty and, well, chaos. Now, far be it to panic, but if things seem to be going upside down in some area of your world from Monday onwards, this could be why. All the freedom we may have been enjoying may come to halt. But why, oh why? It’s because we need to integrate, honey. We can’t keep going at breakneck speed. Nature has her cycles, and we are nature. We have cycles, too. We dance two steps forward, one step back, then we rest before we dance again. 

Much more exciting is the direct movement of Venus on Sunday. Finally our relationships can start making sense again and we can begin to see our way out of the dramatic storms and temperamental tantrums. This is a great time to think about what we’ve learnt. To mend broken bridges. To apologize. To let our light shine once again. 

Our Full Moon in Pisces also paves the way for forgiveness, for the release of big emotions. This is one sign that teaches us to look at the bigger picture, and to be ever so grateful for the lessons, however frustrating they’ve been. Let’s collectively glide on the wings of peace, love and surrender. That’s it, baby.
