Tony chats with Gus Calderon, Co-Founder at FireWatch. They create detailed aerial maps of location and condition of all the vegation in a community. Then they break it down with GIS software and create individual defensible space maps for all the homes in the community. This is very important in California and other wildfire-prone states. They can quantify the amount of vegetation and use multi-spectral imaging which allows them to determine plant health which is VERY important for wildfire hazard.
