Migračné tlaky rastú, pociťuje to aj Slovensko. Európska migračná politika však stále funguje podľa pravidiel, ktoré sa ukázali ako nefunkčné v rokoch 2015/6. Reforma bude schválená najskôr začiatkom budúceho roka. Osemročné zdržanie spôsobila aj neochota stredoeurópskych krajín, vrátane Slovenska, prispieť viac k zvládaniu spoločného problému.
